The Tezos Foundation is pleased to release a faucet for the Tezos mainnet. This faucet allows developers and users to request Tezos tokens (tez) for development and testing purposes.
To acquire tez for development and testing purposes, enter a Tezos address and complete the captcha prompt at faucet.tezos.com. The faucet releases 0.01 tez every 10 seconds. Tezos addresses registered to receive tez from this faucet are added to a queue with a maximum length of 10 addresses. Addresses that have been in the queue the longest are at the front of the line and are removed from the queue once they are through. Addresses that have received tez from the faucet are blocked for 12 hours before they can be re-added to the queue.
We offer this faucet to the Tezos community for testing and development purposes. However, this is a development faucet and we advise that no one should depend on this faucet’s continued availability. We may turn off or change the faucet’s parameters in the future. Please read the Terms and Conditions for additional information.
Following Spruce’s launch this week and announcement of their collaboration with the Tezos ecosystem, we sat down with Spruce’s Founder & CEO, Wayne Chang, to learn more about the company and how it will advance the Tezos project.
