Monthly Update - February 2024

Please find below a selection of project updates from the wider Tezos ecosystem:

• Congratulations to Sign-in-with-Tezos (SIWT) on securing a grant from the Tezos Foundation
• Layer3 XYZ, Inc also secured a Tezos Foundation grant to support their project @layer3xyz
• Objkt and fakewhale launched Objkt galleries offering transactional improvements with a smart contract based system and other platform improvements. 
• Tezos successfully activated its 15th upgrade, Oxford 2, which amongst other features, advances the development of smart roll ups and the stake user experience.
• Blind Gallery launched their Academy, an educational platform with interactive courses about Blockchain Art.
• Kukai celebrated the year of the dragon with their mooncake quests.
• Farquhar Venture Capital (FVC) partnered with TZ APAC to accelerate Web3 gaming on Tezos.
• NFT Game Cricket Stars Crossed 5k Monthly Players Mark.
• BattleRise successfully secured a Tezos Foundation grant to support their project.
• @Oxalus_io, the team behind Auto Hero, also secured a grant from the Tezos Foundation.

As for the Tezos Foundations funding processes, please find the following KPIs for February 2024 below:

• The Tezos Foundation received 17 grant proposals
  • In summary, 7 new grant agreements were signed
  • Turnaround time (from submission to decision) = 33 days (median), 52 days (average)
• Tezos Foundations Operations checked in with various teams regarding ongoing projects to support their efforts and assess their project’s performance; based on expert reviews and recommendations, 18 project milestones were accepted
• The Tezos Foundation received 3 new investment applications
