Two-factor authentication is quickly becoming more prevalent in modern digital security. With the excitement of opening brand new devices around the holidays, it can be easy to forget how much we rely on our smartphones, tablets, and laptops to protect our data.
The Tezos Foundation made two-factor authentication (2FA) optional for fundraiser contributors as part of its verification process. For contributors who enabled this feature, setting up 2FA on a new device requires disabling the active 2FA in order to configure it on the new device. Two-factor authentication varies between platforms and devices, so contributors should be familiar with the unique requirements for their specific 2FA codes.
There was a lot of activity this week within the Tezos ecosystem. We were excited to announce several grants that will improve the Tezos development experience to make it easier to build applications on Tezos.
