Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) Update

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of the Tezos Foundation is excited to announce Rafael Ziolkowski will join the TAC as chair starting in January 2022.

Rafael will succeed Michel Mauny, President of Nomadic Labs, who has decided to step down as the Chair of the TAC after having led the committee since February 2018. Michel has played a pivotal role in supporting the Tezos ecosystem through his chairmanship of the TAC.

“The Tezos ecosystem is growing faster than ever and the TAC will be in great hands with Rafael. This transition will allow me to focus on Nomadic Labs and adoption of the Tezos protocol.” – Michel Mauny, President, Nomadic Labs

Rafael Ziolkowski joined the Tezos Foundation in September 2021 after concluding his doctoral studies on blockchain governance at the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich. In his capacity at the Tezos Foundation he currently leads the Operations Team and is responsible for grant proposal processes.

“I am honored to join the TAC and have this opportunity to continue to support the grant proposal process which, for me, by its membership structure, allows for a diversity of views and a critical but fair discussion on each grant proposal.” – Rafael Ziolkowski, Operations Team Lead

The Tezos Foundation would like to thank Michel Mauny for his years of dedication in leading the TAC and it welcomes Rafael Ziolkowski as chair.
