Following a council meeting yesterday, the Tezos Foundation is proud to announce that Olivier Jaillon has been appointed as a non-executive Council Member of the Tezos Foundation.
Olivier is the Chief Executive and Enablement Officer of Wakam, formerly known as La Parisienne Assurances, a leading French insurance company that delivers customized white label insurance products to brokers, insurtech companies and non-insurance distributors across Europe. He joins the Foundation Council with decades of experience in the financial services and insurance industries and a demonstrated track-record of integrating technology solutions to transform industries.
“Olivier has been part of the Tezos ecosystem for a number of years and we are thrilled to welcome him aboard in this official capacity,” said Hubertus Thonhauser, Chair of the Tezos Foundation Council. “Olivier’s experience bringing new innovation to entrenched industries, creativity, and tech background make him a strong fit for the Council.”
Olivier will join Hubertus Thonhauser, Arthur Breitman, Alexis Bonte, Alice Lloyd George, Lars Haussmann, Anil Madhavapeddy, Chris Wright and Danny Masters on the Tezos Foundation Council, effective immediately.
Today, the Tezos Foundation and the other defendants have entered into a settlement, subject to court approval, of all putative class action lawsuits, all of which are pending in California state and federal courts.
