Monthly Grant Update - June 2022

Dear Tezos community,

While summer started for some of us, and winter for others, we are happy to look back at what happened in June at the Tezos Foundation.

The Permanent Art Collection and Digital Art Gallery curated by Misan Harriman went live. We also had the pleasure of unveiling the Tezos Foundation Bounty Program that will present special awards to meet a demand that technical experts in the Tezos community have identified as highly beneficial.

In addition, we had the pleasure of joining many other teams including Tezos Commons, Blokhaus, fx(hash), TZ Connect, TZ APAC, Tezos India and TriliTech at Art Basel in Basel to present beautiful art NFTs created on Tezos to the international art community, WeAreDevelopers in Berlin to meet developers interested in building on Tezos and VidCon in Anaheim, California. We’re proud that Marina Abramović chose Tezos to launch her first NFT collection “The Hero 25FPS” with the Cultural Institute of Radical Contemporary Art (CIRCA). This beautiful project would not have been possible without the support of TZ Connect and TriliTech, working in collaboration.

Later in June, we saw Tezos upgrade seamlessly once again when Jakarta protocol activated on June 28th.

And finally, we had the pleasure of celebrating Tezos’s fourth anniversary!

Take a look at our June grant numbers below:
