Monthly Grant Update - March 2022
Dear Tezos community,
March was filled with exciting updates and news from the Tezos Foundation. In addition to the latest biannual report, we had the pleasure of welcoming a new president to the Tezos Foundation Council.
Take a look at our numbers below:
In March 2022, the Tezos Foundation received 34 grant proposals. In total 10 new grant agreements were signed, among which 3 DeFi projects and 2 in the digital collectible categories. The average acceptance rate from the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) was 50%: out of 26 projects reviewed by the TAC, 13 were accepted.
The median time from the moment the proposal was submitted until the agreement was signed was 55 days (Average: 72.86 days). The median time from submission to approval was 30 days (Average: 39 days), as for the median time from approval until the agreement was signed was 23 days (Average: 33.86 days).
During this month, the Operations Team also checked in with 37 grantees with ongoing projects to support their efforts and assess their project’s performance.
Finally, the Tezos Foundation and Blokhaus welcomed 8 grantees to the marketing and communications onboarding sessions.
